Pros

    Cons

    • Car Bounces Excessively
    • Incompatible
    • Mounting Holes Too Large

Comments about Rancho RS5000 Shock Absorber:

I told the salesperson I wanted a premium shock for my Denali and he recommended this one. After installing them I discovered the mounting holes are too large and they rattle - making my Yukon sound like a Yugo. They do not control bounce. They seem like they were designed for a small car, not the weight of an SUV. I'm very disappointed.

Comments about Rancho RS5000 Shock Absorber:

I have only good things to say about Rancho shocks. These shocks are built tough and last longer than any other shock I've used before. I haul items that range from light to heavy in my truck and the ride is always great. They adjust to road conditions. Small bumps feel soft and larger bumps and pits feel firm but not stiff. I recently replaced the Ranchos I had with new ones because one of them sustained a large dent in the housing from a big rock. The dented shock still worked without leaking, but I had them on the truck for six years and didn't want to take unnecessary chances. These shocks represent an upgrade to standard ones. The extra cost is well worth it, in my opinion.

Installed on a 2003 suburban and it smoothed out the ride 100%. Been installed for about two weeks and so far so good. Very simple to install and both were installed in 40 minutes which saved me $50.00 installing them myself.

Sorry, without the presence of your vehicle we would not be able to properly diagnose it nor provide you with a 100% answer. We would suggest that you take your vehicle to a certified mechanic for further diagnosis.
