What’s so great about PureONE oil filters? Purolator PureONE Oil Filters are 99.9% efficient. This means that most all contaminants that pass through a PureONE oil filter are captured in its exclusive Micronic media, helping to prevent engine damage. Each also comes equipped with a silicone anti-drainback valve that helps to protect against engine dry-start. Put away those filter wrenches because all PureONE oil filters feature specially textured paint that helps keep the filter from slipping when you’re installing or removing it. So no matter at what angle you find yourself, you’ll have a firm, textured grip. To top it off, the filter’s PTFE-treated sealing gasket also makes for easy installation and removal. Purolator PureONE oil filters should be replaced every 3,000 miles or three months depending on the driving conditions, or as specified by your vehicle's manufacturer.

Product Features:
  • 99.9% of all contaminants that pass through a PureONE oil filter are captured in the media.
  • Micronic media traps microscopic contaminants
  • 100% covered in textured grip control that helps keep the filter from slipping when you’re installing or removing the filter.
  • PTFE treated sealing gasket for ease of installation and removal
  • Silicone anti-drainback valve lasts longer for extended protection against engine dry start

Comments about Purolator PureONE Oil Filter:

From what I have found, there are only two extended performance filters (synthetic reinforced media) for Hyundai Azeras produced before April, 2009: this one and one built by Bosch. They both seem to work great, but this one usually costs about $3-6 less than the Bosch. This filter has worked fine for my 8,000 mile intervals with full sythetic oil. I'm not brave enough to go 10k miles plus, but this might go that distance.

Comments about Purolator PureONE Oil Filter:

Great filter. I have used this filter for over 100,000 miles in my personal car with zero problems. Have not had any problems with fitment and have received no bad filters. Only thing that was a little frustrating was replacing the small o-ring that came with the filter. This could not be helped because the filter manufacture did not design the oil filter housing. Best thing is that they did include the two o-rings that should be replaced on the oil filter housing during every oil change.

Have purchased several of these filters for my 2009 Sonata and have had no problems, unlike another reviewer who said the gasket leaked. This is a very highly rated filter

The large gasket leaked on my Sonata, stick to the Fram filter if you have a Sonata.
