Check Vehicle Fit

Dirt and even rust can enter the fuel stream at any point along the long journey from refinery to your vehicle’s fuel tank. So, your fuel filter becomes the final line of defense against damaging contaminants getting into your vehicle. Clean fuel, free from dirt particles and rust, is essential for the smooth and efficient operation of your vehicle. A tiny grain of dirt can clog injectors, leading to erratic performance and poor gas mileage. Clean fuel increases gas mileage and improves engine performance - and with the fluctuating cost of gas these days, that’s really important!

Product Features:
  • Defense against damaging contaminants
  • Helps increase gas mileage
  • Improves engine performance

              Comments about Purolator Fuel Filter:

I was surprised to find that this fuel filter was made in China, as opposed to Fayetteville, North Carolina, as were the Purolator PCV valve and air filter.

I returned this fuel filter and bought an AC Delco for my vehicle.

If you want a cheap Chinese made filter, then skip the Purolator packaging and just buy the store branded fuel filter.

Remove the protective covering that guards the fuel filter while changing with new Fuel Filter. Most filters have some kind of plastic covering over them to prevent damage. Reattach the hoses and guards once the installation done.
