Check Vehicle Fit

Dirt and even rust can enter the fuel stream at any point along the long journey from refinery to your vehicle’s fuel tank. So, your fuel filter becomes the final line of defense against damaging contaminants getting into your vehicle. Clean fuel, free from dirt particles and rust, is essential for the smooth and efficient operation of your vehicle. A tiny grain of dirt can clog injectors, leading to erratic performance and poor gas mileage. Clean fuel increases gas mileage and improves engine performance - and with the fluctuating cost of gas these days, that’s really important!

Product Features:
  • Defense against damaging contaminants
  • Helps increase gas mileage
  • Improves engine performance

      Comments about Purolator Fuel Filter:

This filter was slightly longer (about 1/4 inch)than the once I purchased from NAPA a couple years prior to getting this one. Not sure if this equates to more filter media or not but the extra length makes no difference when installing.

          A:

The filter is labeled in the direction of the fuel flow. It is towards the engine and away from the tank.
