            The product is actually better than the OEM. The OEM only had a metal woven mesh inside. This has a real filter breather element. The product is made in Tawian where most of th Asian preformance products are made.

              is this located on valve cover drivers side? would it affect vacuum issues?

                A:

                Yes, it is a filtered opening in one of the valve covers and allows the PCV to draw filtered air through the crankcase. If your breather is gone bad it will create large vacuum leak, more fuel consumption, increases the crankcase pressure.
