Comments about Purolator Classic Oil Filter:

This filter was very difficult to install. It cannot be accessed from under my engine as I was instructed. I had to do it from the top, removing air intake tube to get access, If I had the RIGHT tool ("Crab claw" oil filter wrench), job would have been easier and saved me some time. If you can access from bottom, buy a (better) filter having socket nut on top (Purolator yellow or K & N). If you have a Dodge with the 5.9 Cummins Diesel, do some research online BEFORE trying to install(anything). The quality was below par to the OEM filter. I have found better filters on line for about the same price, so I will get/buy my filters on line in future.

Comments about Purolator Classic Oil Filter:

With the location of the Ram Cummins filter and tightness required, this is the only filter that can be gripped with a filter wrench successfully.
