Comments about Purolator Cabin Air Filter:

Bought a "new" used truck and went through the usual filter and fluid replacements - purchased this on my todo list - turns out there shouldn't be a listing for a 2003 Silverado as it wasn't an option in 2003 per GM Service bulletin.

I'm sure it would have worked well if the truck was so equiped. Would have been nice if Advance wouldn't have offered it as an option since the truck doesn't use one. More upset about the lost time than the lost money.

Cabin filters are generally found in one of two locations: under the hood or under the dash board.

        • Q:

You should not list this product for a 2004 Chevy Avalanche. There is no cabin air filter for 2003 and up Chevy Avalanche vehicles. 2002 was the only year this vehicle had a cabin air filter.

The Cabin Air Filter is usually located behind the passenger side glove box. To find more information about your cabin air filter location on your specific vehicle, I recommend visiting your local Advance Auto Parts store and purchasing Haynes Repair Manual. The book will provide you with the cabin air filter’s exact location, and inform you on how to replace the filter. The Manual will also inform you on how to replace any part on your vehicle, and what tools you will need to complete the task.
