I placed this in my 04 Sante Fe, which did not have an original filter. Easy to install about 5 minutes to remove the glove box and cabin filter housing cover

I have this filter in my 2005 Sonata and my 2005 Santa Fe. You just remove a couple more screws and take an extra 5 minutes. If you can't figure it out, spend three times as much and get the official Hyundai 2 piece filter instead of posting here that it won't fit.

Even though the Hyundai Cabin Filter is (2) pieces this (1) piece filter will fit. You just have to take an extra step or two to install it. It's a lot less expensive also.

Comments about Purolator Cabin Air Filter:

This is not the correct cabin air filter for a 2004 Hyundai Sonata, even though the website's filter system says it is. The car requires a two-piece filter, and this is a one-piece filter.

                    A:

It should be located behind the glove compartment. Take off the glove compartment frame removing the screws on each side. In the center of the exposed area is the panel to remove to insert the filter.
