Comments about Purolator Cabin Air Filter:

I am a 78 year old woman and I installed it myself. Had a few problems at first but learned from a video. Next time I need one should be easier. I saved my self $47.
Can't believe the air-flo in side the car now, nearly blows me away. I love it and the savings too.

Comments about Purolator Cabin Air Filter:

I actually had the dealer replace the first one in my nissan at 18,000 miles. After watching a Youtube video, I noted that it was super easy to do yourself and save the dealer charge of $74.00.

Comments about Purolator Cabin Air Filter:

This filter is not meant for the Nissan Altima Sedan!!! According to the Purolator website, only hybrids use this model. I had a 2008 Altima SE and was going to change the filter, but found out it was incompatible. Wasted 45 mins pulling out everything and then putting it back together (it was my first time). Ended up having to exchange it for a different filter, wasting more time and gas.

            AAP please change the description!!

Hello 02ebvette. I will be happy to answer your question. This filter is not a carbon activated filter but it will still filter the air that will be going to the cabin but not filter odors and smells.

Your Glove box will have a slide out section. The filter is behind it. If you have an owners manual it will give full instructions.

Well this all depends on the skill level of whoever is removing or replacing the part. Some may have a harder time than others who have experience. I would recommend purchasing a Haynes repair manual specifically for your vehicle. This should be able to assist you further into detail on how to repair or replace specific parts.
