      A:

Hi Robert, I'm happy to help! The cabin air filter on 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee is located outside of the car on passenger side. To replace Jeep Grand Cherokee cabin air filter first time you need to open hood. Pull back weather-strip from passenger side of cowl. Remove fasteners on passenger side of cowl. Lift up passenger side of cowl. Remove filter from filter housing. If installing for the first time, remove and discard factory filter inlet cover. Purchase and insert new filter housing. Replace old Jeep Grand Cherokee cabin air filter with the new one. Reassemble all pieces back in place.

  • Q:

On a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 5.7L V8 Hemi I located a compartment under the cowl. I can't find the filter. Is there a guide or link somewhere that could help? I can't even get my hand down in the hole far enough to see if there is a filter or if I can remove it.

      A:

You will have to remove the hose clamp at the airbox, then the factory breather, unfasten the airbox clips in the side and finally remove the upper portion of the factory airbox. You would see the filter now. If you are unsure on how to correctly change your air filter please seek a professional mechanic’s help.
