Comments about Project Pro 13-Piece Harmonic Balancer Puller:

Product works as intended. pulled a harmonic balancer off a 1996 Chevy Blazer at least 4 times to memory. The kit includes three sets of screws: a set for small balancers for a car, a mid grade set for trucks and SUVs (That's the set I used) and a large bolt set.

I'd like to recommend a few things:
    1. Oil before and after use - I always have a bottle of oil or transmission fluid and I coat the threads before use.

    2. Use a small socket on the end of the puller - The kit comes with a pointed "die" so to speak as well as spacers. But worked best for me was using a 1/4" drive 14mm socket to rest the die part on. It pulled my balancer a bit quicker, plus I didn't mark up any of the metal in the engine.

    Good kit nevertheless.

    Do not buy!!!

Comments about Project Pro 13-Piece Harmonic Balancer Puller:

It fit great until the first bit of pressure was applied, then it cracked before it even got any of the job done. Going to return it, and spend the money for a higher quality tool that will actually function as intended. Maybe this would work for plastice parts, but certainly not anything that needs a decent amount of force. I wish that I'd seen the reviews before buying. Dear Advance Auto, please discontinue selling this horribly made item!
