With reference to your inquiry on the Pro-King Automatic Transmission Remanufactured Torque Converter - part# GM33CW, the torque converter may be the possible cause of the problem on your Chevrolet Express 3500. However, I would suggest taking your vehicle to a certified mechanic for a proper diagnosis before buying and having parts installed that may not (solve/be) the problem. • Q:

yes, i have a 4l60e transmission it came out express van and i put it in my truck but, it don't performance like it did before do u think that torque converter is the problem ?
Asked on 4/26/2012 by Joel from Huntsville, AL

      A:

The torque converter should be the possible cause of the problem as the the torque converter on a 4L60E transmission is an essential link between the engine and driveline. The torque converter uses fan blades in a sealed case to create a fluid coupling that transfers power from the engine to the transmission.
