Comments about Powerbuilt Tools Power Steering Pulley Puller:

THIS TOOL IS NOT DESIGNED OR RECOMMENDED FOR JOBS THAT REQUIRE LOTS OF PULLING POWER. THE TOOL IS DESIGNED TO REMOVE P/S PUMP PLASTIC PULLEYS;IT GETS THE JOB DONE. THE TOOL IS RATHER LARGE AND DIFFICULT TO USE BECAUSE THE OF TIGHT PLACES OF USE. TAKE YOUR TIME AND REMOVE ALL THE NECESSARY PARTS TO MAKE ROOM FOR THE TOOL - USE THE TOOL AS DIRECTED IN INSTRUCTIONS AND THIS TOOL WILL REMOVE THE P/S PUMP PULLEY.

Comments about Powerbuilt Tools Power Steering Pulley Puller:

This puller is junk. The description talks about side thumb screws that lock the jaws in place. These are not thumb screws. They have a hex head on them, but they're not deep enough to get any grip with the small hex driver. Could not get the jaws to line up and close on the pulley flange straight. It would always draw up cocked to one side or the other. When I finally got it semi-lined up and started to put tension on it, the cheap-o handle that screws in to the side of the unit snapped off. Never could get this thing to budge my power steering pulley one tiny bit. Also, its really big. Had to remove the fan unit just to get it in place on the pulley. [...]

Comments about Powerbuilt Tools Power Steering Pulley Puller:

Worked but the adjustment bolt was not manufactured correctly. The adjustment bolt was a hex bolt. The socket was too shallow. The wrench just was able to be inserted. The other adjustment bolt was OK and had a deep socket. I returned because of the defective bolt. [...]

This is a puller only. Tool will not push pulley back on. Also will not work on my GM/Chevy Caprice/Impala SS. Jaws would not adjust small enough.

Yes this should work on your power steering pulley for removal. You can just hit it back on for installation.

I used a block of wood and a hammer to put the pulley back on. Place the pulley on the shaft. Place the wooden block on the pulley and hammer the pulley onto the shaft. Eric
