Power Service Diesel Fuel Supplement Plus Cetane Boost with an Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel (ULSD) antigel formula prevents fuel gelling, keeps injectors clean and boosts cetane for faster cold starts.

  • Effective in all diesel fuels, including ULSD and biodiesel blends containing up to 20% biodiesel (B20)
  • Prevents fuel gelling in temperatures as low as -40°F; boosts cetane up to 4 numbers for fast cold starts
  • Contains anti-icing additives; protects against fuel filter icing

    Comments about Power System Diesel Fuel Supplement Plus Cetane Boost (32 oz.):

    I started using this with my 2011 Jetta TDI a couple months back, and it has worked well. The engine runs a good bit more quietly and smoothly now and the fuel economy is 1-2 mpg better. This is the first winter I've owned the car, so I can't really comment on a difference in cols starts, but there have been no problems so far.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

        Hi Bryan, thank you for contacting us! It is not designed, nor has it been tested, to perform in the way you describe. I am unable to recommend that you use the product in this manner. I would recommend that you check with the nearest Advance store and one of our parts pros will be glad to assist you with an alternate availability.

        Hi Stephen, I definitely share your concern with using the best additives for my vehicle. This particular product from Power System's FAQ indicates that you would generally want to use this product in the winter to help prevent gelling and gaining all the benefits of their Diesel Kleen + Cetane Boost Part No. 03025 (case) or 3016 (single bottle) which is more concentrated to help keep those diesel injectors clean. For most diesels you'd want to discontinue your use of anti-gel products once the temperatures have come up, generally when your area switches back to the summer blend. One important thing to keep in mind if your diesel is still under warranty, make sure that the product is approved for use in your engine by the engine manufacturer.
