Comments about Pilot Passenger Headlamp Assembly Combination:

Just remove the two long screws and the lamp housing comes out, disconnect the electrical plugs and reverse the procedure for the new housing. Easy and quick! Now make the new lamp housings(driver and passenger) align by adjusting the two inset screws for each housing for up/down and side to side while the lights are on. Project done, now have a beer on your buddy who didn't help you. If you are wondering where the two inset screws are look at the bracket that holds the lamp housing BEFORE you install it, they are the star pattern screw tops. Make sure you have the proper screwdriver that fits this pattern then after the housings are inplace and the lights are on you can then align the lights correctly. Now have another beer on your buddy and don't drive around to see if the lights work great, you could end up with an opinion from the police.

The supplied machine screws were blunt on the end and difficult to get lined up. Using the original removed screws which were tapered solved the minor problem of assembly and lining up the holes.

Comments about Pilot Passenger Headlamp Assembly Combination:

Overall fit was ok compared to OEM. Biggest complaint is the screw adjustment mechanism. They have slop in them compared to the OEM part which I'm concerned they are going to vibrate on the road and move when hitting bumps. If I had to do over would probably go with OEM part even if it cost more. By the way, I replaced both driver and passenger hesdlight assemblies.

        • Q:

Do these replacement head lights have plastic lens like the originals that dis-color over time or,,, Are they made with glass lens? I know "Pilot" manufactures OEM replacement lights with glass lens instead of plastic but I can't find anyone that sells that option. Thanks!
