Good stuff in an easy to use package

Seems like good lube. There's enough in the package for two sets of brake caliper pins etc. You'll need a second one for the rear brakes.

I used this in 2010 for a full brake overhaul. Calipers, rotors, pads. I used this on all the lubrication points. Now over time it has worn/washed out and rust has taken it's place. I was easy enough to use for an install. But I will not use it again. It aslo is not resistant to heat. Instead use a high temperature brake lube.

Comments about Permatex Ultra Disc Brake Caliper Lube:

I used this when replacing the brakes on a 1996 Ford Ranger. Putting a thin layer on the back of the brake pads (the surface facing out towards the caliper) helps reduce squeaks. I put a little on the anti rattle clips to ease the pads into place. There was enough left over to lubricate the caliper pins. I found it easiest to insert the pin directly into the envelope. Make sure to clean the caliper pins before putting them in the lube.

Comments about Permatex Ultra Disc Brake Caliper Lube:

One of the most looked over applications in brake repair. If the calipers don't slide then you are only wearing out the pads sooner. Always apply a lube to the slides when replacing pads and this product worked great.
