Permatex PermaPoxy 4-Minute Multi-Metal Epoxy (.84 oz)

Versatile, easy-to-use, multi-metal epoxy adhesive is two-part adhesive and filler system that's designed to eliminate the need for welding or brazing. Sets in as little as 4 minutes without requiring clamping. Dark grey appearance. Fills gaps and will not shrink. When cured, can be drilled, sanded, threaded or filed. Resistant to water and solvents. Temperature range -60°F to 300°F (-51°C to 149°C). Permanent strength up to 4500 PSI.

    Works just like it says. I've used it on everything from thermostat housing to exhaust. Very quick setting, I keep in all my rigs. Awesome 5 star

        Hi lohen, great question! I researched and found that this Multi-Metal epoxy is only for metal to metal and cannot be used to glue metal to PVC and silicone.

      I NOTICED A LONGITUDINAL HAIRLINE CRACK ON THE HEADER OF THE RADIATOR ON MY 1993 CAMRY. SOME WATER IS INDEED ESCAPING.
      I ASSUME THE HEADER MATERIAL IS A HIGH DENSITY POLYPROPYLENE.

      MY PLAN IS TO 1)INTERNALLY ADD SOME BAR'S RADIATOR STOP LEAK
      2) SPREAD ON THE EXTERIOR PERMATEX PERMAPOXY 5 MINUTE PLASTIC WELD.

      WILL THE PERMAPOXY ADHERE TO THE OUTSIDE OF THE HEADER TO SORT OF FROM A SEAL?

        A:

        Your plans may work, but since the cooling system is pressurized, there is no telling how long it would work. The best fix is to actually just replace the whole radiator.
