Suitable for use on frequently disassembled engines. Resists gasoline and other damaging fluids. Withstands temperatures 350°F (177°C) continuous, 400°F (204°C) intermittent.

This Permatex MotoSeal 1 Ultimate Gasket Maker Grey (2.7 oz) (Part No. 29132) can be used on transmission case halves, valve covers, center and end covers (transmissions), crank case halves, cam covers, exhaust manifold seals, timing chain cases, side covers, clutch housings. For more information, I would suggest that you contact the PERMATEX directly at 87 PERMATEX (877-376-2839) and they would be in a better position to help you.
