Permatex Medium-Strength Threadlocker (Blue) (.2 oz)
OEM specified. All-purpose medium-strength threadlocker. Ideal for all nut and bolt applications 1/4" - 3/4" (6 mm - 20 mm). Eliminates the need for stocking expensive lock nuts and lock washers. Locks and seals while preventing parts loosening due to vibration. Protects threads from corrosion. Removable with hand tools for simple disassembly.

Not much to say about Locktite.. If you have bolts that are prone to come loose from vibration, but you may also want to be able to remove them at a later date, than Locktite is a good way to go. Various strengths are available depending on your needs and are color coded for easy identification. I have encountered Locktite on many applications and have never known it to fail. So, if you are making mechanical repairs and need to insure that bolts or screws don't become loose, use Locktite.
