Comments about Permatex Fuel Tank and Radiator Repair Kit:

Parts store did not have item in stock I ordered. Offered me this product instead which was $6 more for an alcohol prep pad and small bit of sandpaper. Drained the tank, cleaned to bare metal, sanded and scuffed, still a nominal bit of fuel seepage. Kneaded product as instructed and formed cone to insert into 1/4" hole in tank along with enough product to feather around leak. Product would not adhere to tank and stay in place. Thought I didn't clean and sand/scuff well enough so repeated procedure with same result. Purchased JB Weld for use with fuel instead and handled the job perfectly with one application.
