Apply a small amount and the wires will slide on and off easily. You may have noticed when you were replacing your spark plugs that you had to pull hard on the wires or use a spark plug wire puller to remove them. If you apply just a small amount of this dielectric grease to the wires now, you can eliminate that problem in the future. You never know when you may have to take the wires off again. It may be sooner rather than later, especially if you did not correctly tighten (about 15 foot pounds)the spark plugs.

I ordered this by accident. It was my fault as I did not look at the pictures carefully enough. No problem with the product but I meant to buy the larger one. This one is the high priced one time use product that they keep next to the register for impulse buys.

The larger ones are much better deals. Look at part numbers 22058 or 81150 instead.

    1) Is 1 packet "intended" for 1 plug, OR for multiple plugs. If multiple plugs, how many plugs can reasonably be expected to be treated with 1 packet?

    2) The description says a packet provides 5 gm, yet the image shows 4gm, please clarify which is correct. than you

      A:

Hi Chris, glad to assist you! I think this Permatex Dielectric Tune-Up Grease (Part No. 09980) will be enough to treat for 2-3 spark plugs. We strive to have all of the information available to our customers when shopping on our website. There are times when the manufacturer does not provide all of the information a customer may require. In this case, even Permatex does not have the diameter listed. For more information, I would suggest that you contact the manufacturer directly at 87 PERMATEX (877-376-2839) and they would be in a better position to help you.

Hi Stan! Since you didn't mention the specific vehicle, it's hard to tell for sure. To give you the correct information I would need the year, make, model and engine size of the vehicle.

      A:

Yes these spark plugs will fit your vehicle and the specific
job. In most cases the hole that the spark plug goes into is a universal fit meaning that as long as the spark plug has the treads and is the correct diameter it will take the spark plug
