Comments about Permatex Ceramic Extreme Brake Parts Lubricant (8 oz):
First off, to answer the two reviews who complained about the brush being bent because it is too long, the brush is bent so that you can get the paste in the corner of the jar when you're almost out. If this bothers you, either buy a new brush or use your finger.
I don't use this on my truck. I use this to lubricate the bolts on my heat treatment fixture, which gets heated to 1,200 degrees for eight hours with a water quench half way through. This lubricant has completely eliminated repair work as well as cut reset time in half.
I've ordered 50 more bottles to keep in inventory because this is so critical to what I do. My heat treatment is much more brutal than what the brakes on a car would ever do, so I'm convinced it would do well there too!

Comments about Permatex Ceramic Extreme Brake Parts Lubricant (8 oz):
This lubricant is very thick, like warm taffy consistency, so it is a little difficult to apply but once it is on it seems like it will last a long time. The applicator brush was too long for the bottle resulting in the brush being permanently bent at a 90 degree angle adding to the difficulty in applying this grease! But it seems like a very good lubricant.

Comments about Permatex Ceramic Extreme Brake Parts Lubricant (8 oz):
This is the same material that comes in the purple packets found at the registers, but in much greater quantity. In addition, the cap has a built-in brush which is easier to use.
This grade of brake lubricant is meant for ceramic brakes, but I imagine you won't have any problems using it on semi-metallic and organic brakes. I don't know because I stay away from them.
The one downside is that the brush stem is bent in an awkward way so it will fit in the jar.

This is sooooo much better then buying the little packets of brake parts lubricant that are up at the cash registers. I will not need to buy brake parts lubricant for a while.
