    Will this seal a hole in a power steering hose

      This Permatex Black Rubber Sealant (1.5 oz) - part# 80338 may help but I would always recommend fixing the problem by finding out exactly the cause of leak on your power steering hose and then replacing the necessary parts.       This part Permatex Black Rubber Sealant, Part No. 80338 manufactured by Permatex is a black, oil resistant sealant that may be used as a coating., PRODUCT BENEFITS: • Weather resistant, • Skins over quickly., TYPICAL APPLICATIONS: • May be used as an adhesive on porous substrates, • Protective coating, • Weather stripping, • Electrical connections, • Seal window and door glass., DIRECTIONS FOR USE: 1. Surfaces to be coated must be free of moisture, dirt, grease or scale., 2. Apply Black Rubber Sealant to both surfaces., 3. Allow to dry until the adhesive is tacky but will no longer, stick to fingers (about 5 – 10 minutes)., 4. Join surfaces to be bonded and press or roll together. Allow to dry for 1 – 2 hours before applying any stress., 5. For brush application - brush a fairly heavy coat over surface., 6. Roller coat - apply like a very heavy paint., FOR CLEANUP: Clean up with Acetone.

      Yes, it is fuel/gasoline resistant. The product retains effective properties in contact with automotive fluids, such as motor oil, transmission fluids, alcohol and antifreeze solutions. Typical applications - May be used as an adhesive on porous substrates, Protective coating, Weather stripping, Electrical connections, Seal window and door glass.
