I haven't used it yet (not from this bottle anyways) because I bought it just to have it on the shelf for when I actually need it. But the bottle was only 2/3 full!

I wonder if Permatex fills them all to this level? Or did I get the one bottle that happens to be less filled than it should have been?

The bottle has been sitting on my kitchen table since I bought it. I keep thinking that I will take it back to the store and ask them to compare its fill level with some of the other bottles on the shelf -- to be sure I got what I paid for -- but I haven't gotten around to it yet.

Comments about Permatex Anti-Seize Lubricant (8 oz):

The one ounce tube is only half the price, but paYing the extra $4 for the 8-ounce jar with brush is completely worth the money just for the brush. The tube is it really difficult to use and not make a mess. It gets on everything. I ended up having to use a new pair of gloves every time I got to the next bolt just because of the amount of feces on my fingers, that was subsequently get on everything else

I already have a bottle of this stuff and was wondering if I could use it when I change the spark plugs on my 2006 F250 5.4L Triton? The replacement spark plugs (SP 515 Motorcraft)are to be reinstalled with a coat of anti seize on the electrode shield that fits down inside of the head.

Hello Don, Happy to answer that question for you. You can use this on the spark plug treads. In the cap there is a large brush, be careful not to get the anti-seize on the tip of the spark plug, and to torque the spark plugs properly.

            • Q:

Is this stuff OK to use on the bolts that hold the front brake caliper bracket to the steering knuckle? This has always been a hard to remove bolt on my wife’s car and I always wind up buying new bolts due to the extreme measures used to get them off. I use the shop manuals torque spec when installing. The concern is if the bolts could back off if they are lubed with this when installed. They have a lock washer.

Yes this should be ok to use on those bolts. I also recommend that you use PB blaster when taking off the bolts.
