container not full
The container was about 3/4 full. The brush is somewhat big and therefore it gets missy. I think it is overpriced.

Comments about Permatex Anti-Seize Lubricant (8 oz):
You need this stuff if you need to keep your bolts and nuts from seizing! Especially important for exhaust systems!
Comments about Permatex Anti-Seize Lubricant (8 oz):
Very useful to have. Is also a substitute for grease, so don't a have to take out the messy grease gun for small tasks. The small packs never have enough so this is a good buy for the home mechanic.

For 2004 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD Ext. Cab. 6.0 Liter V8 Code U.
After 25,000 miles still going strong. Anti-Seize Lubricant also change Wearever Caliper Guide Pin-Bolt Kit Part No. H5078.

Also Change factory Caliper Guide Pin-Bolts with
Wearever Platinum Premium Ceramic Brake Pads (4-Pad Set) Part No. PNAD785. For a Lady to me 4 hours to do.
PB Blaster and Anti-Seize Lubricant is a must for next replacement of Brake pads or rotors.
For a man may take less time to do.

Great for the spark plug replacements makes removal a breeze
Comments about Permatex Anti-Seize Lubricant (8 oz):
I haven't used it yet (not from this bottle anyways) because I bought it just to have it on the shelf for when I actually need it. But the bottle was only 2/3 full!
I wonder if Permatex fills them all to this level? Or did I get the one bottle that happens to be less filled than it should have been?
The bottle has been sitting on my kitchen table since I bought it. I keep thinking that I will take it back to the store and ask them to compare its fill level with some of the other bottles on the shelf -- to be sure I got what I paid for -- but I haven't gotten around to it yet.

Comments about Permatex Anti-Seize Lubricant (8 oz):
this product has been around a long time and I have used it for a long time. This is a must for new cars and trucks as many are now using aluminum heads. Good for other parts that you want to get apart again some day.

Comments about Permatex Anti-Seize Lubricant (8 oz):
Permetex Anti-seize is good stuff! Very good to use on the back side of rotors to prevent them from sticking to the hub, also use on the front of rotors to prevent aluminum wheels from sticking to the hub. Very good for chassis parts that are prone to rust.

A:
Hi Don, good question! Yes, it is safety to use on spark plugs.CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Hello Don, Happy to answer that question for you. You can use this on the spark plug treads. In the cap there is a large brush, be careful not to get the anti-seize on the tip of the spark plug, and to torque the spark plugs properly.Q:
Does this compound have silicone in it?1 answer

permatex 80078 you show pictures of 3 diff products. i want the gray bottle on the left not the spray or small tube how do i differentiate when i order?I own a bottle and am almost out ,I want to replace it.1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
I am unsure why all three products are shown. This is only the bottle on the left.Q:
Is this stuff OK to use on the bolts that hold the front brake caliper bracket to the steering knuckle? This has always been a hard to remove bolt on my wife’s car and I always wind up buying new bolts due to the extreme measures used to get them off. I use the shop manuals torque spec when installing. The concern is if the bolts could back off if they are lubed with this when installed. They have a lock washer.1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Yes this should be ok to use on those bolts. I also recommend that you use PB blaster when taking off the bolts.
