Got tired of getting the one use packets, that you never really use the whole packet. If you have multiple vehicles, get a tube.

Comments about Permatex Anti-Seize Lubricant (1 oz):

I work on many cars that are at least 25 years old and I find that when I attempt to remove original parts from them I run into many obstacles. The worst obstacle is when the part has bonded or welded itself to the adjoin part i.e. rust, etc. So when I replace a part, where it's acceptable, I use the Permatex anti seize lubricant "for the next guy presumably. There have been occasion that I have enjoyed the benefits of the anti seize that I applied previously, on occasions and I couldn't have been more pleased with the results. the time and effort to remove parts was and still is tremendous. There is a larger size of the Permatex but I find this to be the right size for the work I do! the only thing that I can mention about the stuff in a negative light is that it is messy if you get it on your hands. Just be more careful you say?! Yep!!

every new car I get, I remove the spark plugs and coat the threads with ant-seize compound. most cars claim 100k spark plug service life, which is great, but the threads have a tendency to corrode after being in so long. breaking a spark plug off is a real pain.

You should be able to apply a little to the threads as well as some to the "stem" of the spark plug so that the spark plug wire boot does not get stuck on the spark plug.
