This product has a poor design. The hydralic line will not stay in the NEW QUICK CONNECT design. I can't finish bleeding the system due to the fact that the line keeps popping out of the new slave cylinder. This has become a major problem and peharps AAP should pull this part of the shelf. I have been working on this for three days and the line has popped out at least a dozen times, i think i will design my own quick connect system.....

I spent 4 hours to try to instal the old line into the new housing. With the snap ring in, it is too small for the old line to fit in and with the ring out the line goes in but will not stay. This is a very cheep desgine and horrable to work with. The persons who desgine this was not very smart.

the slave cylinder is nothing but trash this is the second unit ive put in within 30 days of buying it and not even 30 days before both of them failed. Perfection clutch items and accessories are the worst buy and they will not hold up, it has caused damage to my clutch and not to mention the clutch hydraulic line has popped out of the cylinder on me multiple times its the worst product made and should be discontinued. do not recommend this product to your friends, fair warning.

Comments about Perfection Clutch TECHnovation Clutch Slave Cylinder:

The slave cylinder works great its the new and improved line connection that is the problem. If you purchase this unit put the old line connector on from the one you replaced. Do yourself a favor and make this replaceent before you install the new unit. It is easily done by popping the spring pin out of both units. Don't do as I did and make the assumption that the problem that is referred to in the other reviews has been solved, it hasn't been. The new connection works well the first time you install it; but if you have to remove the line to replace the clutch slave cylinder as I did, it will not go back again. Trust me on this one. REPLACE THE CONNECTOR.
