Comments about OTC Serpentine Belt Tool:

I needed to change the water pump on my 2005 Silverado. In the past I have used a 1/2 inch drive ratchet with a cheeter bar to remove the serpentine belt. This time I thought it was time to purchase the tool to help make the job easier. I reviewed all of the tool choices on this web site and from previous extperience with the OTC brand of tools I purchased this one. I have not used it yet but It appears to be of high quality as I would expect. Thanks for another great product Advance Auto Parts.

Comments about OTC Serpentine Belt Tool:

Seemed to be built pretty good but did not work on my Celica GTS. I couldn't get the socket on the bolt because there was not enough room between the head of the bolt and the frame. There needs to be more socket buyouts in the long arm to reach these types of bolts and nuts.

Comments about OTC Serpentine Belt Tool:

I used this tool as a rental to take the serpentine belt off a 1999 Ford Expedition and it literally took me less than 2 minutes once I attached the tool. I did one just a few days earlier on a 1997 Chevrolet Cavalier and it took me literally hours of frustration and agrivation...It was rediculous...I really wish I had this tool a few days before because it was so easy and not frustrating at all. HIGHLY RECOMENDED. The tool snaps together in a matter of seconds and you are rockin & rollin
