The battery in used in a tournament fishing boat. This product is good, however for the degree of use that it is used may be better to go with a d27 or d31. The battery seems to be good but not quiet what I was looking for, I was actually looking for the D27 when this one was bought but nobody close by carried the D27. On the boat this battery does not hold its advertised standby time.

Comments about Optima Batteries Blue Top, Deep Cycle Battery, Group Size 34, 750 CCA:

This is a deep cycle battery that is used for my trolling moter in the boat. So far it has kept up very well. I have not used it on an all day fishing trip yet but I believe that it is going to hold a charge and get me through a whole day with out any trouble.

Comments about Optima Batteries Blue Top, Deep Cycle Battery, Group Size 34, 750 CCA:

I have put several Optima batteries in my cars, when the originals started to fail. Now I own a truck and wanted to add a winch, but didn't want to tap off my existing wiring. With the extra set of terminals, I was able to keep the factory wiring and add the winch wiring.
My only complaint is that the install would have been a lot easier if I could have gotten this battery with the terminal positions reversed.

This battery packs a punch! Dependable starting power even during cold weather. This is the fourth one I have purchased this year to replace all of the lead acid batteries in the boat. The biggest advantage is the substantial weight difference compared to other batteries the have the same reserve and CCA.

                  • CUSTOMER CARE

                    A:

Excellent question! I wish I could give you an exact number, but you can never tell with batteries. Heat damages a battery more than the cold does so it really should not be too affected just sitting unused. Since it is an AGM battery, they hold up better in all climates than a regular flooded battery. You will want to keep the battery above 12.4 volts while storing it. If you do not have a battery maintainer, you will want to check the voltage about once a month to ensure it is not below 12.4 volts. Charge the battery if it falls below 12.4 volts. We do carry Part Number 150-40000 which is the Optima battery maintainer. It will monitor the battery state and charge when needed.
