Comments about Nickson Flex Exhaust Pipe:

Read the top of the box it tells you the size.
Just be sure if you cut them to clean the ends and make sure there are no barbs in the way.
Do not exspect to get 90* degreas out of it.
Will not happen.

Use a high speed cutter for easier cutting. Mine worked great replacing a mid section of my exhaust.
If old pip has surface rust be sure to clean most of it.
80 grit Sand paper or emery cloth will do fine.

  • Q:

If this flex pipe is extended, say, 8inches, will it sag after time??? I need it to attach the end of a downpipe to the beginning of an exhaust system where there is a gap.

      A:

With reference to your inquiry on the Rol Exhaust Flex Exhaust Pipe - Part No. 540175 the flex pipe will offer extended life if used in on road conditions. The flex pipes give more room to adjust for the fitment, but when the car moves all the moving force (typically on off road conditions) is applied to the flex pipes thus it's easy to sag and broken after the time. For any further assistance please feel free to call 1-877-238-2623 and one of our Parts Pros will gladly assist you with any questions or concerns you may have.

  • Q:

I own a 2002 Toyota Echo. I measured the exhaust as 1.75 in diameter. I measured using a tape measure round the outside of pipe. I recently bought a 1.87 inch flex pipe but it's too big. There is nowhere in the description of what size this is, so will this fit on my car?
