this product was send to me with no lock nuts and a greasy package. don't mind the grease but someone should have checked to be sure the product was complete.

Worked well on a bolt on exhaust. One of the three clamps that I ordered was missing a nut. It was easily replaced at the hardware store because I didn't want to wait for a replacement. My only complaint would be that the metal on the bracket seemed a little soft/weak and started collapsing on itself when I cranked things down. I was able to get it tight enough to work so no worries. Great for the price.

You'll get the regular clamps unless you specify heavy-duty. These are stouter, will take more torque and are less likely to strip or shear. Some exhaust junctions just require more clamping pressure to seal them and these HD babies fit the bill!

Don't waste time welding. Simply attach your new muffler to the exhaust pipe with this bracket. 5 minutes and you have a new muffler installed.

Great question Myra, I will be happy to help. Yes, if the hole is small enough I don't see why it would not work for you. I would also try a product such as our Nickson exhaust repair kit (Part No.540050) or similar like products.
