Comments about NGK V-Power Spark Plug (BPR6EY):

The copper core means more powerful spark. Sure, platinum plugs may last longer, but they also don't perform as well. I don't mind replacing my plugs more often if it means better performance. The V-groove center electrode means a better spark, the sharp edges make it easier for the spark to bridge the gap. The concavity of the ground electrode also introduces sharp edges, allowing the spark to begin at the corners then spread to the center. I drag race many of my cars and there's a very noticeable difference between plug designs. My 944 loves these, far better than platinum or fancy weirdo 4-prong plugs.Basic physics state the the current is gong to follow only the path of least resistance leaving 3 of those 4 prongs sitting there doing nothing other than screwing up size of the spark. The same also goes for having material with a higher resistance than copper in your plug, weaker spark!
