Did tune-up of 2 coils, plugs and wires/boots. Mazda 2001 Protege runs like new now. Cheap fix. Shop wanted to install new o2 sensors, new cats etc. at a cost of $1900. I bought these parts and paid $75 to install.

Comments about NGK V Power Spark Plug (BKR5E-11):

I purchased these plugs off the web site for the family 2000 Nissan Quest with 100,000 miles. It was having rough idle and hesitation-upon-acceleration issues. I replaced the plug wires and distributor at the same time. After that, I had to slightly adjust the timing (15 deg. BTDC) and it was off to the races. Now the vehicle runs like new. After a 600 mile trip pulling a sailplane on a trailer, no more chugging, and shaking. At one point before the parts swap, the thing shook so bad I thought I had a flat. Now it's on to the speed sensor.

what does the 11 mean in the spark plug BKR5E-11? I have a 2000 Polaris 325 magnum 4x4 ATV and have the BKR5E spark plug. I am replacing the spark plug cap that fits on the plug at the engine and the diameter of the plug is to big at the cap. I can't find the part to fix it. Polaris was no help as they stopped making the part.
