Comments about NGK V-Power Spark Plug:

Very easy to install, except for on back driver side of engine. Make sure to have a spark plug socket. With the exception of the one whole job took less than 20 minutes. The spark plugs that I removed were old, dirty, and slightly worn. Hoping to see improved performance of my Yukon.

Comments about NGK V-Power Spark Plug:

I've been using NGK spark plugs for a while now and I've never had any issues or problems. They take a new gap easily and perform flawlessly. I've tried several other brands and while Bosch is supposed to be the 'best' I've had nothing but problems with them in multiple makes and models of cars and trucks. NGK however outperforms Bosch in every vehicle I've used and repaired. Also don't buy into the hype - change your plugs first and see how your vehicle runs before changing the wires. I've found about 95% of the time the wires are fine and it was just the plugs.

This NGK V-Power Spark Plug - Part No. 2238 is pregapped at 0.04 inches. All the spark plugs are pre-gapped from the factory, the fact remains that the gap must be adjusted for the vehicle that the spark plug is intended for. Those with modified engines must remember that a modified engine with higher compression or forced induction will typically require a smaller gap settings. • Q:

I purchased 8-NGK TR5GP spark plugs for my 2003 Chevy Tahoe. A mechanic/friend of mine said that I should only put in American plugs because of the electrode and temperature rating. I use NGK in a Mazda RX-7 for years with no issues. Will they harm my motor? I have about 160K on the engine.
