Great replacement for the EOL Bosch W7DTC

    After looking for W7DTC plugs that became incredibly expensive due to them being end of lifed I found the BP6ET triple electrode. I installed them into my daily driver and found that the car starts and idles better with about a 3-5% improvement in fuel mileage. The car passed smog with flying colors. I had tried the Bosch +4 and the results were less than stellar. If your unit came with triples originally try these plugs. I'm sure they'll put a smile on your face. No gapping is required, just make sure you use a little never sieze on the threads to protect the head threads from stripping.

      All of the VW forums recommend this NGK BP6ET spark plug for the 1985 VW Cabriolet. But your site says it is not compatible and won't show it in the list of search results. I had to trick the site to even show me that you sell it. Is the problem the manufacturer and their list?

        Hi Randy, Good question! Yes, you are right. Our catalog depends on the manufacturer's information and we do not normally go with the forums. Per NGK the exact fit spark plugs are the following - NGK Nickel Spark Plug 7131, V-Power Spark Plug 6427, G Power Spark Plug 7084 and Iridium IX Spark Plug 6637. NGK do not list 1263 as an exact fit for your Cabriolet.
