Comments about NGK Nickel Spark Plug (BKR5EKU):
A mechanic had put in BKR5EKUP (platinum) for me about 34,000 miles ago. Supposedly they last longer. I put these in for less than half the price and my 2000 Jetta VR6 with 94,000 miles on it hasn't run so smoothly since it was new. I put them in last night and drove 100 miles today. Great power and idle.
I think these copper plugs are a better choice, and so do the reviewers on the VW Vortex Fora. I'd go with these plugs over the platinum ones.
