I was looking for good or atleast OEM spark plugs for my 323i without spending too much money. I came so close to buying the bosch +4 but after reading reviews, I decided to back off. On the other hand, NGK had very good reviews and very close to OEM. Some people say you get more power out of them, but i dont think thats possible, maybe it feels better than what they had but i wouldnt count on higher HP. My car runs smooth without any of the problems that people are reporting with the Bosch plugs. Highly recommend

This is the exact same plug as original- well not exactly the same- it doesn't have BMW printed on the ceramic and the price is lower. The OEM BMW plugs I pulled out of the car had "NGK BKR6EQUP" stamped into the metal band just below the hex section. So these are the same plugs, only cheaper.

Works great, previous owner of my car which is a Volkswagen Passat V6 had never changed the spark plugs since 2002,basically when the car was bought...them OEM plugs were fried..so i decided to use these plugs since they worked great in my other car which was a Honda Civic and does the job above and beyond. Quality and durability is what we need. Gives the car more torque (pull) and helps gas mileage burn accurately.

Hi lkadfsj, with reference to your question, the ToughOne Starter - New - Part No. 96120, are installed at the factory dry, without the use of anti-seize. Anti-seize compound can act as a lubricant altering torque values up to 20 percent, increasing the risk of spark plug thread breakage. NGK recommends a wire-style or feeler gage gap tool, which can adjust the gap without prying against the centre electrode. NGK also recommends adjusting the gap no more than +/-0.008" from the preset gap. Torque is critical in the plug's ability to dissipate heat and perform properly. Always follow the manufacturer's recommended torque specification. An under-torqued spark plug can lead to excessive vibration and improper heat dissipation, causing spark plug and /or engine damage. An over torqued spark plug may cause thread damage or breakage, or compromise internal seals within the spark plug, leading to improper heat dissipation or exhaust gas blow-by. You would need spark plug socket, 6” or longer extension, Anti-seize compound, flat head screwdriver and set of sockets while changing the spark plugs.
