I replaced 3 of these OEM Iridium plugs with 3 NGK cheaper platinum plugs about 3.5 years ago and left other 3 OEM Iridium plugs on my wife's van. I recently replaced all 6 plugs (3 OEM Iridium plugs with 100K+ and the 3 newer installed platinum plugs wtih about 50K miles). I included a picture for comparison. The platinum plug on the left with 50K miles is darker, dirtier than the OEM Iridium plug at right with 100K+ miles. They were pulled from my wife's Honday Odyssey van.

Comments about NGK Laser Iridium Spark Plug (IZFR5K11):

goes in my 07 Odyessey. Right part for the vehicle. My surprise was while in Florida on vacation I was going to change out my plugs. The local stores didnot carry the proper plug, but wanted to give me a different number plug. This forced me to wait until returning home to get and replace them. Just odd. Most reviews claimed their plugs were properly gapped when they bought the. Mine were not. Therefore only a 4 star rating.

Comments about NGK Laser Iridium Spark Plug (IZFR5K11):

I was very impressed with the Quality build of this Spark Plug. I have found it is always best to go with OEM Parts for replacement..
Spark Plugs have different heat ranges. So they are somewhat designed for specific engines.

Comments about NGK Laser Iridium Spark Plug (IZFR5K11):

These are the exact plug as was stock on my 2007 Honda Odyssey. They were very easy to change, much easier than some of the online tutorials made it look. These plugs are already gapped, so it makes the installation very quick. All I did was put some anti-seize on the threads, and they were good to go. I also put some dielectric grease on the coils (COPs), but that's probably up to you to decide if you need. I torqued these to 18 ft lbs, which was from an NGK online reference page I found. Great plug, and with Advance Autos great pricing and discounts they were very affordable.

Comments about NGK Laser Iridium Spark Plug (IZFR5K11):

Put these in my Honda Pilot. The spark plugs I removed were original and had 120,000 miles with no issues. So I put in the exact same and expect they will work great as well. Would have given them 5 stars, but the price is a bit high for these.

There is no need to set as the NGK Laser Iridium Spark Plug with Part No. 3657 is preset with a gap of 0.044.

Always check the gap according to your vehicle. NGK states on their website that the gap should be checked before installation.
