Hi this is Martin I have a 2001 cadilac sts. my mechanic says I need a new radiator because of a leak from the raDIATOR TO THE TRANSMISSION. HE SAYS THE LINE CAN'T BE REPLACED BUT I WAS THINKING THAT THIS PART MAY SOLVE MY PROBLEM, AM I CORRECT?

      A:

The GM oil/transmission cooler lines are prone to leakage after a few years. Your leakage may be at the quick connect seal between the line and the connector on the radiator (rather than between the connector and the radiator). If that's the exact point of leak, this Dorman - OE Solutions Auto Trans Oil Cooler Line Connector should prevent the leak.
