Comments about Needa Parts Inlet/Outlet 3/4" Tube x 5/8" Hose:

If you don't want to spend $90 on the hose with quick connects built on then buy the dayco heater hose, buy some clamps, and buy a quick connect and save some money! Or just reuse your old clamps.

Comments about Needa Parts Inlet/Outlet 3/4" Tube x 5/8" Hose:

Remove the old broken connector with a standard electronics soldering iron, melting the old connector in a straight line from front to rear. Remove the old rubber seal, clean inlet pipe to heater core, install new rubber seal, and push new replacement connector (evenly) on with pliers until you hear the click. Reattach inlet heater hose, bleed coolant system of air and top off coolant with fresh antifreeze. 15min Repair.

Either one of two ways: 1) Break the old ones off...easy enough. Just make sure not to get any debris in the system lines. 2) Dorman, as I'm sure other manufactureres have done, has made a specific part for this very application..usually white in color, it is used to insert into the side with the large opening on the heater core side, which depresses the locking mechanisms so the fitting may be removed with ease. The GM OEM heater core fitting can be removed using and a flat-head screw-driver or similar piece of equipmet by prying the locking detents away, approx. 1/4 of inch from the large opening and directly on the seal, from the actual fitting. Hope this helped.
