Comments about Needa Parts Fuel Sending Unit Repair - 3/8" x 4 3/4" with 16mm fitting, 90 Degree Bend:
Good product, but expensive for a fitting and a bent piece of tubing. It served the purpose.

Q:i have a 1999 cadillac escalade, when i fill it up with gas it shows on the guage on its full then when i drive like 15 feet is goes back to empty i was informed that i have to change the whole fuel pump and the fuel sending unit is that true or can i just change the fuel sending unit.
A:The fuel pump and the fuel sending unit could possibly be the problem. However, without the presence of your vehicle we would not be able to properly diagnose it nor provide you with a 100% answer. We would suggest that you take your vehicle to a certified mechanic for further diagnosis. For any further assistance please feel free to call us at: 1-877-238-2623 or visit the nearest Advance Auto store and one of our representatives will gladly assist you with any questions or concerns you may have.
Q:I have a 1996 ford mustang v6 and the temp and gas gauge are always all the way to the left or all the way to the right. In the afternoo when the car is hot it goes all the way to cold when it is parked for a long time it goes all the way to hot.. And my gas its not readin it always in the half tank or full. doesnt show exact amount. I kept putting gas and it is in full tank now, I need to know the exact amount of gas so i dont keep filling it up
A:The fuel sending unit may be the possibe cause of the problem. However, I would suggest taking your vehicle to a certified mechanic for a proper diagnosis before buying and having parts installed that may not (solve/be) the problem.
