2001 Ford f150 V6 4.2L will this replace the quick connect on the inlet side of the fuel filter? And will it be able to hold the pressure?

      A:

Hi Backyard mechanic, my answer to your question on the Dorman - OE Solutions 5/16 Inch Quick Connector, Straight with 18 Inch of 3/8 Inch Nylon Tube and Union - Part No. 800-054 is that the connector is an exact replacement for your 2001 Ford F-150 4.2L, you would have to match it up to the old connector. It most likely will fit the filter and it will be able handle the pressure of the fuel system.
