"The nuts in the picture are what Motormite, the manufacturer, considers the bushings. I contacted them myself just to clarify this. Which piece(s) are you saying that you are missing? The picture shows everything that is supposed to come with this. It includes the pins and nuts, or bushings, as Motormite considers them."

Jeep hinge bushings are a nylon bushing that go inside the hinge. A nut is a nut, no matter how you look at it! Just as Motormite is a nut!!

Thank you for clarifying that. After looking into it some more, just like AAP agent Marie stated, this does not fit your vehicle. It is meant for 1994-1998 Jeep Wranglers and not 2001 Wrangler. If our website did actually state that it was for your vehicle, we apologize but we must have been having issues with the site that are now fixed. If you would like to return the parts as I'm sure you do since they do not fit your 2001 Wrangler, the fastest way to return the parts and get your money back is through one of our stores. Once again, we do apologize for the inconvenience.

Does it fit or not and where is the bushing that is supposed to be included, which IS what I originally ordered?"

    MARIE from AAP said:

"It does specify that it doesn't fit the Wrangler. I am sorry for this misprint, we have been having issues on the website and im sorry if it was misleading. The bushing should come with the pin. i went ahead and called the manufacturer and they have specified that the bushing is the nut looking part at the bottom."

You people are idiots!! Don't you even know the difference between a nut and a bushing? No wonder I never use your store. My dumb brother is the person who ordered this part. What the heck is a nut looking part? A nut is a nut. Idiots!!

  • Q:

I JUST asked a question about this part. Ordered them directly from local Advanced Auto store, 4 days ago, and have already picked them up. Originally, according to this site, this part DID fit my Jeep, but as soon as I asked the original question, suddenly it DOESN'T fit my Jeep.

"No, this part does not fit your 2001 Jeep Wrangler."

Does it fit or not and where is the bushing that is supposed to be included, which IS what I originally ordered?

  • Q:

I just bought 2 sets of these. Really only needed one, but what the heck?

There was NO bushing included, which is what I REALLY ordered and specified when ordering.

Are those grooved notches at the top of pin what is considered the bushing?
