  • Q:

Is this the correct seal for the passenger's side transmission axle on a 2008 Cobalt LT? The correct axle for the passenger side was listed as the "left" side instead of the "right" as one would assume.

Hi Stickman, glad to assist you! This National Oil Seal (Part No. 3543) is a manual transmission output shaft seal and you will require two seals. The left side refers to the driver side the right side refers to the passenger side.

  • Q:

Is this the seal I need for my 2003 Olds Alero 3.4L V6 Automatic CV shaft where it enters the Transmission? I have been told I have a very slight leak and it is quite possible the seal is worn

Also I was told that often, the entire shaft assembly will wear out, and I may have to replace all that as well. Do the entire shaft kits you sell have all the seals I need for direct replacement, or are the seals to the transmission seperate?
