        With reference to your inquiry on the MSD Ignition LT-1 Distributor Cap & Rotor Kit, '95 to 97 General Motors, LT-1, 350 Cubic Inch or 5. 7 Liter SFI (Part No. 84811), this MSD Ignition Kit doesn't make any different on Engine at idle. It is better from Stock because the MSD ignitions store their energy in large capacitors and dump it into the coil to fire the spark. This doesn't always make a hotter spark, but it recharges faster, so it can make a hotter spark that the coil doesn't have very much time to build up a magnetic field. While at the normal ignition like the stock Honda one builds up energy by building a magnetic field in the coil, then releases the energy by shutting off the current and making the magnetic field collapse, creating a spark.
