Comments about Mr. Gasket Shock Extension Set:

Even thought this is exactly what I needed, I am amazed at the price. It's nothing more than a modified bolt that doesn't even include a nut. That said, it is exactly what I needed when I raised the rear end of my golf cart. It is an easy process to remove the lower nut to the shock, slide the bushings off and screw on the extender.

These Mr. Gasket shock extensions are designed to give you extra length for applications were shock mounting has changed. They are available in aluminum or steel and fit either loop, tie bar or stud mounting ends.

      • A:

This will not work for your application. This product is designed for vehicles that have been lifted where the standard shocks are too short after lifting the vehicle. this will cause damage to your shocks used in the way you describe.
