  • Q:

Have a 04 jeep wrangler have a 2" lift will this fit the springs and raise it 1" more and soften the ride?
Asked on 6/19/2014 by snow man from Pittsburgh Pa

    1 answer

    • CUSTOMER CARE

      A:

I'm glad to assist, Snow Man! These may work on your 2004 Jeep Wrangler. Mr. Gasket does not provide specific vehicle fitment as these are designed to fit the coil springs of many vehicles. This may provide the lift you are looking for. Although the details indicate that the ride will not be affected, this does preload the springs and will cause the ride to be slightly more stiff.

There are many different options for lifting Jeep Wranglers. They are probably one of the most customized vehicles on the road today. There are multiple forums dedicated to them as well and you may find some great ideas there if this product does not meet your needs.

Well this all depends on the skill level of whoever is removing or replacing the part. Some may have a harder time than others who have experience. I would recommend purchasing a Haynes repair manual specifically for your vehicle. This should be able to assist you further into detail on how to repair or replace specific parts.
