I always use OEM replacement plugs. I can't stress how important it is on an unmodified engine. They were engineered to work perfectly on the engine it was intended for. I never go over 30K on a set of plugs either. I disagree with the manufacturer that a set of plugs will last 100K. It's how I make lot's of money when they become part of your head due to unlike metals fusing together with corrosion. Always use a very small amount of anti-seize on threads only, and they will come right out when it's time.

Placed online order and was given wrong part information. Checked availlability at local store and was told they had 26 on hand but when I got to the store to exchange for correct part they only had 4 on hand but still showed 8 (which is how many I needed ). Had to go to another parts store in the area to get parts which were cheaper. I have in the past had good experience with advance auto but this time I was disappointed.

Comments about Motorcraft Original Equipment Single Platinum Spark Plug:

The first set of plugs I tried to use was the Bosch Platinum+4 and they were no good. The caused the car to misfire at cruising speeds. When I went to exchange them I figured that I couldn't go wrong with the OEM brand. I put these in my 2001 Mustang GT and the misfire stopped. Now the performance seems better and it seems to get better gas mileage. I would recommend nothing, but Motorcraft for any Ford. You know that their products are going to fit like they are suppose to and you don't have to worry about the vehicle rejecting the part either. For now on nothing, but Motorcraft is going in my Mustang! I would highly recommend this product!

Asked dealers what they recommended for the F 150 motor, all said Motorcraft. The more expensive brands claim this or that, but nobody who worked a lot on Ford motors would put the other brands on their motors. The main important fact was to get the platinum plugs for the best choice for my Ford.

I used these plugs on my 2002 GT Mustang and they were great! Besides the furthest back plugs, they were so simple to replace! These may be original equipment plugs, but they give you the reliability and knowledge that you are getting a great product! I am a daily casual driver, and the mustang wasn't used for any racing, but when i replaced the original OEM plugs with the new Motorcraft plugs, i noticed a difference right away. My car started easier in the colder wisconsin weather, and actually saw a slight improvement in my gas mileage!

I bought these this weekend for my 2005 Lincoln Navigator after the site indicated they were an exact match for my vehicle. The plugs are NOT a match, the engine (the only engine option available for this model year) requires the HIGH thread plugs. Why does your site have the erroneous information? FYI... I was able to return the unused plugs for a full refund with no issues - kudos to your in-store customer service.

Usually, you should check on your car spark plugs after the 10.000 kilometers or around such date since they can stop functioning at any time since then. Sometimes they last as much as 50.000 kilometers, but you should make sure they are ok before that or they could start failing when you need them the most.
