Check Vehicle Fit

The Motorcraft Original Equipment Oil Filter is designed, engineered and recommended by Ford Motor Company. This filter helps protect against engine wear by screening out abrasives, such as carbon, sand, dust and bits of metal before they can get into your oil.

Product Features:
  • Pressure-relief valves help minimize the chance of contaminated oil circulating back into the engine
  • Pressure-relief valves also help maintain the supply of oil to the engine under extreme cold conditions or if the filter gets clogged
  • Steel cases are “ironed” for a precise fit, fluted to ease removal and painted to resist rust
  • Efficient filter media offers increased dirt-collecting capability and ability to capture more engine-harming particles

Comments about Motorcraft Original Equipment Oil Filter:

Save time and money by doing your basic auto maintenance yourself. Save a trip to the local dealership or "stealership" as most refer to them, and go to AAP for OEM quality filter at a discounted price. I also take my used oil when I am done to AAP as well. Very convenient. I am usually buying some other vehicle cleaner/maintenance items when I pick up the filter. I always use the Rotella T-6 in my diesel truck as well which is stocked by my local AAP. The helpful staff is just icing on the cake.

                A:

Hi Hogrster! We strive to have all of the information available to our customers when shopping on our website. There are times when the manufacturer does not provide all of the information a customer may require. In this case, even Purolator does not have the Beta rating of this Purolator Classic Oil Filter (Part No. L46128). For more information, I would suggest that you contact the Purolator directly at 1-800-526-4250 and they would be in a better position to help you.
