    • Way to soft, not durable

Comments about Mothers PowerCone Precision Polisher:

Just rubs the Mothers' Compound around. Needs to be a lot firmer. Might work fine on metal that is not oxidized, if you have any oxidation at all, forget it.

Comments about Mothers PowerCone Precision Polisher:

I have a 2016 Kenworth T680 big rig, with Alcoa aluminum wheels. I like to keep the truck looking great, and the wheels polished. I use the Mother's Power Ball for the main part of the wheels. I use the Mother's Power Cone for those hard-to-reach areas, between the lug nuts, around the valve stems. It works great, and saves literally hours of time, the mess, and the pain of sore hands, arms, and back, from doing this by hand. I use it with an electric drill, at 1200 rpm's. Cleanup is easy. A few drops of dish soap and warm water, rinse, let dry, and it's ready to use again. It's also durable. Even using it on large big rig wheels, I can polish my wheels several times, without the Power Cone wearing out. I'd highly recommend this product, and the Mother's Power Ball. A perfect combination to get polishing done.

All polishing takes time. I gave it an extreme challenge. Does not handle badly tarnished metal.

looking to use this on the headlight lens on my classic that is currently being restored. The cone shape seems to be a great advantage to work the concave shape...

Comments about Mothers PowerCone Precision Polisher:

You have to press hard because the sponge is too soft. The thing is also cut in pieces, I was afraid it was going to rip apart. After using, I still had to hand rub it.

Comments about Mothers PowerCone Precision Polisher:

This product is great for getting in the nooks and crannies or wheels. The only downside I have with it is that it can scratch chrome wheels if there is dirt present on the powercone. Works well on bumpers too. Use this product with your favorite chrome polish.
